As far as I can tell, Costco is now the only place to officially buy Mach 3 turbo blades. Does anybody have any explanation for why they seem to have disappeared from all stores over the past two years?

Also, have you tried Costco's mach 3 blades, and how do they compare to previously available Mach 3s?

I have no interest in cartridge razors, but just out of curiosity I thought I would check with Google.
I found Mach 3 turbo blades at Walmart, Target, CVS, as well as direct from Gillette, eBay, and Amazon.
If I wanted to buy them I could, and without going to Costco.

I'm not sure where you're seeing mach 3 turbo cartridges. Target, CVS, Gillette, and Walmart do not stock them. There is no mention of Mach 3 turbo on Gillette's website. Walmart.com, which sort of works like aliexpress, and Amazon may have them, but there is a much greater risk of getting counterfeits through those channels.

I just took a look and other than a false 'nearby' from Ocean State Job Lot (I'm not in New Jersey), nothing local. I see the same results for eBay and Walmart 3rd-party sellers on the non-local search.

Since it's at some discount stores (OSJL), only through 3rd party sellers, and not listed on the Gillette site... They must have discontinued it.

Other than taking the risk of ebay or the like, the only option I can think of is BST posts.

Oddly enough, they have kept their Mach3 alive. It's just the variants that seem to have been dumped.

Sorry.

One would believe that Costco is selling genuine Gillette products and I rather buy from them since they have a good return policy (the long lines can be terrible so you’d have to be early or lucky). The reason Gillette is probably discontinuing it is so that they can make more money by having customers rely on their more expensive Fusion, Proguard, or whatever rip-off cartridges.
