Pinaud clubman markets this as a hair tonic, but I use it as an aftershave splash. The scent has grown on me a bit, almost a deep fruity/cola smell. It's hard to describe.

Anyone else use it ?

Don't think I've ever heard of it, nor seen it around.

I'd have to check it out myself, but a deep fruity/cola smell doesn't sound too appealing to me....

I'm probably not doing it justice. I was hoping someone more eloquent than I had used it before and would comment :) .

I just splash cherry coke on my face......... :hmm:

Seriously though, I've heard of it on the forums but never smelt it.

How common is it for a hair tonic to be used as an aftershave?

Cherry coke as an AS....You too ? :spin:
How common....That's a good question.
All I can think of off the top of my head is Pashana bay rum which I think is advertised as both.

I spray a few spritzes in my hair from time to time before I comb it. It provides a small amount of non sticky hold, and of course the pleasant scent. It supposedly helps your scalp as well, though honestly I don't use it it enough to tell a difference.
