Gentlemen:
I have always being really skeptical of artisan shaving soaps:my fav. are The Gentlemen Quarter and Kells original, but after talking to some good friends here and in other forums,I decided to follow their advices and get some Prairie Creations shaving soaps.
I only can say that after a couple days shaving with them, these are wonderful and excelent shaving soaps, and you dont know what youre missing if you havent tried them.Theyre really well formulated, the lather is dense, rich.slick and superb, and its skin care can compete with top ones, like Art of Shaving or MWF.
I must say that Im impress, and Im really hard to impress most of the time.
My sincere congratulations to Krissy and her job.

I'm so glad that I could show you that it can be done. With the right experience and know how. It's my pleasure to help provide a quality shave soap in some of your favorite scents, or just left unscented for those that prefer it or have sensitive skin.

Tieste,
Our little soap fairy also makes a great After Shave Balm that IMO rivals the C.O.Bigelow that I have been using for years. And her bath soaps are no slouches either. Krissy was able to formulate a soap to deal with my dry skin.

Teiste,

I confess of all the Proprietors out there I'm ashamed to say haven't tried Krissy's. As I recall she had tons of scents to choose from and the revamping of her site looks nice. Apparently there's now Tallow Lanolin-between the two any preferences? Pretty much subjective?

I'm curious about the Chocolate Dreams. Have any of you tried it? Thanks

BTW, I don't know if its just me or few other guys but TGQ does not perform. The scent is lovely no doubt as is the AS, but lather....I thought it was the sample but several others claimed theirs was actual puck and not much luck either.

I have heard such great things about P.C. that I had to try it. So I just ordered three scents. I am looking forward to my order coming in. I am going to have quite the rotation going.

I ordered some plain stuff because I am pretty sensitive. I got unscented, baby powder (probably share with my wife), and lime. There were a few others I wanted to try but they have a wood scented base note and would have me sneezing all day.

Which ones are ya'lls favorites?

I have had the Lavender tallow/lanolin and I am currently using the Facial Blend tallow/lanolin which has a strong scent of tea tree oil so maybe not for you (though I love it). Next up in Krissy's soaps (it's currently in my stash closet) is her Lavender tallow (no lanolin). As I have mentioned to others, Krissy's shave soaps, and now her non-menthol shave creams, are the only artisan shave products for sale that I have used and have reordered. Most artisan shave soaps and creams I find disappointing for one reason or another but not Prairie Creations.
