Curious, Can anyone confirm how the Paradigm Ti1 compares to the Blackbird Ti in efficiency & smoothness?

I cannot confirm this to be 100% accurate or to mislead on information but it is tad a bit more aggressive from 17-4/DB Ti..

It’s more efficient than Balckbird Ti for sure but again YMMV

For me I would rank efficiency as Ti V1 > Diamondback > 17-4 > Ti V2 for smoothness it is the exact reverse but the difference in smoothness is not as large of a gap as the efficiency??

My favorite is the Ti V1. The SE is the smoothest and with Feather “Soft Guards” to me personally as I cannot use any other blade too harsh on my face.

I would put it equal to the 17-4 in efficiency..

That being said you’ll get amazing shave with Paradigm V- 1 100%

Hope it helps

I can't vote because I don't have enough rights, but my vote is YES!!! And for those who want to collect razors, Murat (Rocnel) from Turkey is always ready to help. I say it this without an iota of sarcasm. This man is a great craftsman as well as a jeweler by trade and his Master Collection series is for collectors only. Each razor has an individual number, year of manufacture, so it is already unique in its kind. But this is another topic, so I apologize to the audience for being off topic! I'm for Andrew, I'm a simple guy from the people! Long live Ti1 in its original form!

With best regards!

I actually did a side by side between the Paradigm Ti 1 and the Blackbird Ti and here's my simple take on it. The Ti 1 is definitely more efficient/effective than the Blackbird Ti , but the BB Ti has a bit more blade feel. Again like I've said the real key when using the Ti 1 is to not use any pressure and in a way the same could be said for the BB Ti.. I think the fact that I'm a skin stretcher also helps a lot as I'm always shaving on a smooth surface.

BTW I have a Ti one in my possession as I'm holding for one of my customers overseas and he bought it from the person I sold mine to so it's my old razor. He said and encouraged me to use it as much as I want while it's still with me and I only used it recently to do the comparison for him of both the BB Ti and an Raw Shaving RS -10 SS that I found for him. The Paradigm Ti 1 is more efficient than the RS 10 by a bit with the aggressive or A plate on it but the RS 10 is noticeably smoother and the Ti version of that razor is to date the smoothest razor I've ever shaved with. So if anyone has any questions about the razor I can try to answer them or if you need any more detailed photos of the razor I can take some while it's still with me. Not the easiest thing having your old razor in your possession knowing it's not yours anymore especially when it was already sold once and now back to me again.

I voted yes

I voted yes. I recently got the new titanium Paradigm Diamondback, and I'm liking it so far. But some added efficiency would be right up my alley.

This is what I've been thinking $300 ish.
